CPR/ First Aid/AED

CPR/ First Aid/ AED – $40 Fee

This course is for adults who have not been certified or need recertification in CPR/First Aid/AED and Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors who wish to take the course.

Many troop activities require a Level 1 first aider. First aiders are adults who have taken Girl Scout council-approved first aid and CPR training. Any adult volunteer, including parents, may be a first aider for a troop.

This is a two year certification in adult and pediatric CPR, First Aid and AED. This course meets the Level 1 first requirements, required for many activities outside of the troop’s regular meeting place. You must complete the entire course in order to receive your CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

All certifications are only valid for two years. This course is open to all adults and, with prior approval of the instructor, Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors.

Adult Outdoor Skills Series

We have several outdoor training opportunities available for adults planning Camporees, Troop Camping experiences and/or Day Camps for Girl Scouts. These informative and interactive workshops will provide information and resources for planning and implementing a safe, fun and successful camping experience.

Camporee/Troop Camp/Day Camp Risk Management Training is a mandatory for any adult volunteer who is coordinating, planning, or implementing camporee (either at a local facility or at Camp Wasiu II), a troop camp, or a day camp. All other courses are strongly suggested, as they will provide leaders and volunteers with resources which will greatly enhance the outdoor experience of the campers.

See below for a list of upcoming opportunities. For full details and descriptions, see our Event and Training Calendar.
