Girl Scouts Get their Creative Juices Flowing at Reno’s Artown


Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts alike came by the GSSN booth at Artown’s Family Festival in Wingfield Park on Monday to paint, draw, sketch, and get their creative juices flowing. Girls used their skills to make their own murals and draw using three different techniques while completing one step toward a Brownie painting badge or the Junior drawing badge.

One Kind Cookie

Girls Scouts of the Sierra Nevada are on a mission to inspire and recognize acts of Kindness within our community. So we are a calling on everyone to take this years' Girl Scout Cookie season and recognize the amazing acts of Kindness that take place all around us.

A Taste of Camp- Sunday, February 23, 1 – 3 p.m.

Camp Wasiu II is an adventure summer camp for girls in grades 1 - 12. Join us at the GSSN Council this Sunday, February 23 from 1 - 3 p.m. for all the details! Girls will get to meet camp staff and try some fun activities while families enjoy an informative presentation and Q & A session with the new Camp Director.
