Camp Wasiu II Open House

Saturday, June 28, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Bring your camper to our Open House and discover what camping at Camp Wasiu II is all about.  Tour the camp and meet our wonderful camp staff.  Investigate traditional Girl Scout platform tents, dining hall, and camp store.  There will be some fun camp activities that you will be able to participate in and crafts to take home.  Pack a picnic lunch and come check us out!

Weekend Warriors – Opening Camporee

Friday – Sunday, June 13-15

Ages: Adults and campers 6-17 years old with adult chaperone

Help get Camp Wasiu II ready to receive a summer full of happy campers!  Set up tents, clean up the site, spruce up buildings, and be a Jane-of-all-trades.  Meals will be provided.  Programming will be available during the day for the children of those working.  In the evening enjoy relaxing around a campfire and sleeping as a family in the great outdoors.

Weekend Warriors – Closing Camporee

Friday – Sunday, September 26-28

Ages: Adults and campers 6-17 years old with adult chaperone

Now that the campers have gone home it is time to close things up, put things away, and get Camp Wasiu II ready for the winter.  Help take down tents, pack equipment and supplies, clean the site, and varmit proof buildings.  Meals will be provided.  As with Opening Camporee, programming will be available during the day for the children of those working.  Join us for a fall weekend in the Sierra Nevada! June 28.
