SUMMER ADVENTURE DAY CAMP  SUMMER ADVENTURE DAY CAMP is the only place to be this summer! Day Camp is offered for six weeks throughout the months of June and July and is the only all-girl day camp in the area. Each week is centered on a fun and exciting theme where girls will be unleashing their imaginations while exploring their world through song and dance, games, the arts, acting and role playing, swimming, physical exercise and field trips! Girls will have the opportunity to try new things, make new friends, work towards earning many Girl Scout badges and Try-Its, and spend time outside doing things that are uniquely day camp fun! Everyday is a new adventure at the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada Summer Adventure Day Camp.
Any girl can participate in Discovery Day Camp, even if they are not a Girl Scout.
COST The fee for an entire week of 2009 season is only $120 per girl! This fee includes a camp T-shirt, field trips and a daily snack (campers must provide their own sack lunch each day). Please Note: A $10 membership registration fee will be added to the fee for any girl who isn't already a Girl Scout.
BEST FRIEND DISCOUNT When two girls are registering together for the same week of Summer Adventure Day Camp both girls will receive a best friend discount. The discount rate for best friends is $100 per week per girl. Please submit both registration forms together to receive discount. 
PROGRAM The Discovery Day Camp program is based on weekly themes that are centered on age appropriate activities. Whether it's science, art, sports or theater, girls will receive a well-rounded program that includes arts & crafts, field trips, games, songs and swimming.
STAFF Summer Adventure Day Camp is staffed by qualified and trained counselors who are 18+ years old. The staff is experienced in Girl Scouting and youth programs and all share an enthusiasm for working with girls.
PROGRAM AIDES Trained Program Aides are invited to attend sessions of Summer Adventure Day Camp as "junior counselors" for $35 a week. Eligible girls are in grades 7-12 and have previously completed the Program Aide training.
