Camp Wasiu II Resident Camp Programs

Camp Wasiu II offers a wide variety of outdoor programs for girls entering grades 1-12. Week-long sessions are age-specific (based on the grade girls are entering in the fall) and offer several different special interest opportunities for girls who are ready to explore the out-of-doors on their own.

A weekend program for young girls and a significant adult allows girls and their adults to sample the Camp Wasiu II experience together.

Counselor-in-Training leadership opportunities are available for girls entering grades 9-12.

Camp opening and closing at Camp Wasiu II is a great for opportunity girls, troops, their families and friends, interested adults, business and service organizations to volunteer in a beautiful outdoor setting and make a difference in a girl’s summer camp experience. Registration for Camp Wasiu II resident camp programs opens March 1, 2014.

Summer Adventure Day Camp

GSSN’s week-long Summer Adventure Day Camp gives girls going into grades 1-6 an opportunity to experience camp life and make new friends without having to sleep away from home. Summer Adventure Day Camp is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., in an outdoor setting in the Reno area. Day Camp programing includes outdoor investigations, environmental education, camping skills and activities. Registration for Summer Adventure Day Camp begins on March 1, 2014.

Program Aide

Girls who have completed Program Aide training can have fun and put their Program Aide skills to the test at Summer Adventure Day Camp as Program Aides. Program Aides work with first through sixth grade girls and assist staff with outdoor programming. Registration for Day Camp Program Aide begins on March 1, 2014.
