MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

Part-time position. The intern will support the overall marketing and communications efforts of the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada Council including media relations, news and feature-story development, website updates, publications, and promotions. The intern works on a variety of projects to strengthen the council's visibility in our 23-county service area, supports marketing efforts for the fundraising and services departments, and provides information to important audiences on Girl Scouting.

Qualifications:

• Intern position is not paid but a $300 stipend is offered; must be receiving college credit for internship.

• Hours are flexible; between 10-24 hours/week; within the work hours Mon-Fri, 9am-6:00pm.

• Strong organizational skills and the proven ability to achieve goals.

• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Excellent interpersonal relations skills; able to relate well with people from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation: $300 Stipend at the completion of internship
