EVENT INFORMATION Our annual fundraising dinner is a salute to women who exemplify the Girl Scout attributes of courage, confidence and character, who are excellent role models for girls, and who are respected leaders in our community. This past year, 3,134 girls and family members participated in 90 council-wide events. Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada concentrated on six leadership-building initiatives that are results-driven, including: HEALTH AND WELLNESS /RESULTS Girls develop self-knowledge and life skills to make healthy choices. Girls implement strategies for staying physically active. Girls develop a positive self-image, sound values and a strong social conscience.
