Day Camp

Nothing says summer like Girl Scout camp! At day camp, girls can continue their Girl Scouting experience with days of sun, fun, and friends. With us, the good times never end.

From swimming at the local pool and playing team games at the park, to hitting a bulls-eye at archery (grades 2+) or rock climbing (grades 4+) – girls will get to explore the world around them, try new things, and build self-esteem, all while having a blast with great friends and amazing camp counselors from around the world. Girls will also get to participate in fun theme days!

This the perfect opportunity for first-time campers who might like to attend overnight camp at Wasiu II in the future, and is open to girls entering grades 1- 5. Leadership opportunities are also available to Program Aides in grades 6+.

  • Day camp runs 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Drop-off is between 8:30 – 9 a.m. and pick-up is between 4:30 – 5 p.m. at the GSSN Reno Service Center. Campers should bring a water bottle, daypack, sunscreen, and a no-refrigeration-needed sack lunch each day.

Go ahead – help her open the door of possibilities by registering for one of our Day Camp sessions.

Day Camp Late Fee Policy

There is a ten-minute grace period for drop-off (8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.) and pick-up (4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.). Any adult dropping off after 9:10 a.m. in the morning will then be responsible for arranging to meet the Day Camp staff at our activity location(s). For late pick-ups after 5:10 p.m., we charge a $10 late fee for each 10-minute increment that passes (with our office clock serving as the “official clock” for determining time). For example, a 5:40 p.m. pick-up will result in a $30 late fee. Any late fee must be paid in full by check or cash before the camper may be dropped-off the next day. Child Protective Service and/or the local police department will be contacted if an approved adult listed on the Transportation Release does not arrive by 5:45 p.m. to pick-up the camper.
