The Cookie Kickoff and Cookie CEO event will take place on January 9 at the Reno Events Center
Cookie Kickoff: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Join your local Reno/Sparks area service units for a morning of fun, games, and preparation for the 2016 Cookie Program.
Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to learn all about the 5 skills essential to a successful Cookie Program, like goal setting, money management, people skills, business ethics, and decision making, all while having fun and interacting with Girl Scouts from around the council! Girls will be able to taste the eight cookie varieties offered this year, along with our Gluten Free “Trios.” There will be information about Coco Direct and the opportunities on how to sell cookies online directly to consumers.
Leaders, Troop Product Sales Coordinators, and parents will have a chance to stop by and ask questions about the Cookie Program directly with council staff and service unit volunteers.
Each Girl Scout will have the opportunity to earn their official 2016 cookie pin. All girls who attend will earn a cookie kickoff patch (while supplies last). Girls will also be able to create their very own cookie related SWAP (Special Whatmacallit Affectionately Place Somewhere). Each Girl Scout that brings a completely filled out, signed Parent Permission Form will leave with her cookie order form. Leaders can also exchange signed Parent Permission Form for order cards as well!!
Fee: $5 per registered Girl Scout / $7 at the door; adults and tagalongs are FREE
Registration is required to ensure enough materials are available. Walk-ins will be accepted, but supplies may be limited.
