Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada is governed, according to its Bylaws, by the Board of Directors - composed of volunteers who believe in the value of Girl Scouting and who are elected by the Delegate Body of the Council.
The Delegates vote at the Annual Council Meeting to elect the Board of Directors, as well as the Council Nominating Committee, and every three years National Council Delegates and Alternates. Their approval is also needed on any revisions to the Council By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation.
The 2017 Annual Meeting will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Silver Legacy Resort & Casino in Reno, NV on Saturday, April 8. The registration fee is $5/person and all delegates must register by the March 30 deadline. Register today!
All adult delegates are invited to join us for the Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, which will take place following the annual meeting from 4:30 - 6 p.m. Please note that a separate registration for this event is required.
