Lassen Volcanic Park offers amazing opportunities to discover the wonder and mysteries of volcanoes and hot water. Join us for this overnight adventure where we will take in the beauty of Lake Helen, explore the park's largest hydrothermal (hot water) area, and climb to the top of one of the largest plug dome volcanoes in the world!
We will depart at 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 3 from the GSSN Service Center in Reno, NV and return at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday, August 4. An additional drop-off/pick-up point will be available in Susanville, CA for any participants from that area.
The fee includes transportation to and from Reno (or Susanville), campground fee, park entry fee, all meals, specialized camping equipment, and an event patch! A detailed packing list will be sent to all participants after the registration deadline.
