Volunteers are the Heart of Girl Scouts

Volunteer Appreciation graphic

Every year in April, organizations across the nation celebrate the outstanding contributions of volunteers. In Girl Scouting we even designate a special day to honor our incredible adults who work in partnership with girls - April 22 is Girl Scout Leader's Day!

Do you know a volunteer who has gone above and beyond this year? Consider showing your appreciation by nominating them for a special recognition!

Click here to determine which award is the right fit for your special person and submit your nomination using our easy online form. All nomination materials are due Friday, February 24, 2017. Awards will be presented at our Volunteer Recognition Reception on April 8, 2017.

GSSN also recognizes volunteers for the special milestones they've reached in their Girl Scouting journey. If you're eligible to receive your Years of Service Pin or Numeral Guard Pin (awarded at 5-year intervals) you can use the online form to self-report your years.
