REGISTRATION PROCESS
-
Many program events are very
popular and reach capacity within a short time of the Girl Plan-It being
mailed to members.
-
Payment will be receipted at
the time it arrives at the Service Center, therefore your cancelled check
may be received prior to your registration being processed. Receipt of
cancelled check does not confirm your registration in the program event.
-
Please note if the fee is
per girl, per person (means girls and adults) or per troop.
CONFIRMATION PROCESS
-
A confirmation will be
mailed to all registered troops and individuals approximately two weeks
prior to the event. The confirmation will include the location and any
specifics about the event you need to know in advance.
-
If you would like your
confirmation e-mailed to you, include your e-mail address on the
registration form and check the appropriate box on the registration form.
-
If an event is full, your
group will be notified by phone or by mail. We will place groups on the
waiting list at your request. Any payment made will either be refunded or
can be transferred to another program.
REFUND PROCESS
-
Refunds can only be issued
if notice of cancellation is received at least 2 weeks prior to registration
deadline date.
-
Please submit cancellations
and refund requests in writing to the Service Center, attention: Registrar.
-
Emergency cancellations will be handled on
a case by case basis.
*There are no refunds for no-shows on the day of the event.
TAGALONGS
A tagalong is a child not registered in your troop, such as a sibling of any
age. Tagalongs are not covered by Girl Scout Insurance and change the dynamics
of the event, which is not fair to the troops or other participants. Therefore,
the Council requests that tagalongs do not
attend events.
