Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada grants financial assistance/scholarships based on the need of the member and/or their family and the availability of funds. This assistance can be used for membership, camp, programs, trainings, uniforms, and service unit events.
To obtain financial assistance/scholarships, an individual must be a registered Girl Scout member for the current membership year and complete a financial assistance application for each separate financial assistance request (e.g. membership, camp, program, training, shop).
Once the completed application is received at Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada Service Center, the financial department will review it and will act upon the request within two weeks. Assistance will be granted based on need, participation in product sales and availability of funds.
