WOMEN'S ONLY INVITATIONAL
GIRL SCOUT GOLF WARM-UP
PRE-EVENT
Get ready
before the big Girl Scout Women’s Invitational for a special
warm-up on the Somersett Canyon 9! On May 10, from 9 a.m. –
11 a.m., supporters of the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada
will gather at the exclusive Somersett resident 9-hole par-3
course for a quick game and some pointers on their swing!
Somersett PGA pro, Stuart Smith will be on hand as people
tee off on the first hole of the Canyon 9 to give them some
pointers and send them on their way.
The cost
is only $20 to participate and all proceeds go to the
Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada.
The
Canyon-9 is an executive walking golf course for residents
of the Somersett Community. Players are encouraged to take a
select few golf clubs to play the Canyon-9 as the topography
is varied.

The Girl Scouts
of the Sierra Nevada is hosting a terrific day of golfing,
fun and challenge at Somersett Country Club! Our 3rd Annual
Women's Invitational is the only women's golf tournament in
northern Nevada. Please join us for excitement, friendships,
and celebration of Girl Scouting in our community.

ABOUT SOMERSETT COUNTRY CLUB
 Somersett
Country Club is the newest private golf course in northern
Nevada. The club features an 18-hole par 72 golf course that
plays 7,252 yards from its championship tees and 5,216 from
the forward tees. Designed by Tom Kite, PGA Tour
Professional with 19 victories including 1992 US Open
Champion and 1997 Ryder Cup Captain, in conjunction with Roy
Bechtol and Randy Russell, the breathtaking course features
