Earning her Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards

By earning the highest awards in Girl Scouting, a young woman has demonstrated extraordinary leadership in her community. Girl Scouts of the USA has set age appropriate standards for the three award levels, following the Take Action process experienced in the Journeys. These standards are followed closely by each council across the country to ensure a consistent level of accomplishment.

All That Glitters Award Ceremony

Each May, all Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award winners are honored at an award ceremony. Completed paperwork for these awards must be received at the GSSN Reno Service Center by March 15th of each year in order to be recognized at the All That Glitters celebration. The award pin will be presented to the girl on stage at the celebration. Those submitting their paperwork after the due date will be included in the program the following year.
