MEDIA COVERAGE

Community News Sources

Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada (GSSN) has developed valuable relationships with the media in our communities. GSSN is committed to bring Girl Scouts to every girl, everywhere! Our relationships with the media allow us to tell audiences about the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. By working with the staff at the Council office, the very best messages about Girl Scouting will reach the public.

If your troop, group or Service Unit would like to contact the media about a project or event you are involved in, please contact the Marketing & Communications Team at (775) 322-0642  ext. 232.

Feel free to send us any articles you find in your local newspaper to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada finds the utmost importance in keeping all members informed! In addition to updating your Service Unit Manager, Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada may also use the Echo or Alumni Newsletter to share important news information about activities. If you need help for your troop service project, want to announce a service unit event, or just have a great idea that you'd like to share with your peers, send a Submission for Echo or email to the Marketing & Communications Team at girlscoutcommunications@gssn.org.
