Savannah, Georgia – October 27-30, 2015 (tentative)

Discover your Girl Scout heritage during four days of non-stop activities, October 27-30, 2015, in the Savannah, Georgia, the Birthplace of Girl Scouts! Visit Juliette Gordon Low's birthplace, the first Girl Scout headquarters, the house where Girl Scouts was founded, and Laurel Grove Cemetery where Juliette Gordon Low is buried. You'll also investigate the rich history and culture of Savannah, visit some of the nation's most significant battle sites, take a historic Savannah carriage tour in a horse-drawn carriage, be part of an "America's Most Haunted City" tour (or similar activity), visit Tybee Island complete with forts and the Tybee Lighthouse, take a dolphin cruise, participate in the Girl Scout Militia Program at Old Fort Jackson, and enjoy free time exploring the beautiful city of Savannah. This trip is open to girls in sixth grade and older at time of travel and to troops.  Current Cost: $2,000. 

Australia and New Zealand – June 27-July 8, 2016 (tentative)

G'day mates! Join us for an exciting 12-day whirlwind adventure of Australia and New Zealand in the summer of 2016. Arrive in Auckland and travel to Rotorua to explore the Whaka geothermal area and Maori village.  Observe a jade demonstration and enjoy a traditional Hangi feast. Fly to Cairns and explore the Great Barrier Reef. Next stop is Sydney! Take a walking tour of the Rocks, discover the National Opal Collection, investigate Sydney's interesting history, and explore the Wild Life Sydney Zoo. Other possibilities may include an excursion to the rainforest village of Kuranda or a trip to the spectacular Blue Mountains of Katoomba. This is a girls-only (with selected chaperones) trip and girls must be 14 years old at time of travel. Current Cost: $5,030.
