Financial Literacy is a cornerstone of the Girl Scout program for girls, but what about for adults? We're excited to announce our partners at the Community Foundation of Western Nevada are hosting a FREE Fall Estate Planning Series workshop beginning Wednesday, September 19, 2018.
We know that our Girl Scout adult members - volunteers, friends and family members, donors and supporters - we care very much about ensuring our young girls feel empowered to take charge of their financial future. We do that by helping our Girl Scouts build solid money smarts - budgeting, saving, spending - that will last a lifetime.
But what happens when you hear that more than 60% of Americans don't have a will, trust, or estate planning documentation in place? This is a huge component to how our own finances will be handled one day. And this decision will one day effect our daughters, granddaughters, nieces...
We invite you to reserve your seat for the Free Family Estate Series by calling 775-333-5499 today.
Estate decisions require knowledge in many areas: accounting, finance, legal, insurance, taxes, investments and charitable planning. Experts will help you navigate the topics of advanced health care directives; charitable income & tax planning; being a trustee and executor; and more. The workshops take place over eight consecutive weeks.
Classes are offered to you as a public service. No charity will solicit you for a donation. No financial or insurance products will be sold. Your name will not be given to the speakers. All speakers are volunteers and recognized local experts in their field.
