Helping Girls Explore STEM

STEM Image

We introduce Girl Scouts of every age to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to help them see how they can improve the world - whether they're discovering how a car's engine runs, learning to manage finances, or caring for animals.

GSSN is hosting a volunteer workshop and a webinar for volunteers who are interested in supporting more STEM exploration activities for their Girl Scout troop. Participants attending this workshop will:

- Learn about the latest research on girls and STEM
- Discover techniques and strategies for successfully engaging girls in hands-on STEM activities
- Get familiar with the Girl Scout National Program Portfolio and our newest STEM curriculum
- Explore how to connect girls with female STEM role models

The cost for this workshop is $5 per adult.
