Girl Scout Juniors (entering 4th grade fall of 2025) and their
families are invited to join us for a day rafting, swimming, and
enjoying nature together on the Truckee River! Gear, a tip for our
rafting guides and patches for Girl Scouts are included in price. A

Embark on an unforgettable
adventure along the breathtaking Truckee River with our expertly
guided whitewater rafting tour. Starting at the Boca to Floriston
section, this experience is perfect for those seeking both excitement
and natural beauty.
This run is designed for adventurous
beginners, families, and anyone looking for some whitewater action.
This 7-mile journey seamlessly blends the thrill of Class II-III+
rapids with tranquil stretches, offering a progressively challenging
experience for all skill levels.
Starting in the historic
townsite of Boca, now home to Boca Reservoir, this trip kicks off with
leisurely passages through meandering boulder gardens, providing the
perfect introduction to first-time river rafters. As the journey
unfolds, guests can enjoy refreshing swimming areas, ideal for cooling
off on hot summer days, all against the backdrop of the stunning Tahoe
National Forest scenery.
The excitement builds throughout the
river rafting tour, culminating in the exhilarating Class III+
Floriston Gorge. Brace yourself for thrilling rapids like
"Ke-Bob," the formidable "Jaws," and the technical
"Pinball." With smiles and high fives, conquer the gorge
before reaching our take-out point, marking the conclusion of this
memorable adventure.
Upon disembarking, our rafting bus awaits
to transport you back to our meeting location, where a farewell from
our experienced guides cap off the day. Take the opportunity to relive
the excitement with photos captured by a professional
photographer.
Our half-day rafting tour on the Truckee River

an intimate setting for your adventure.
