The new GSSN Troop Leader stipend program is aimed at giving all girls in the northern Nevada and northeastern California the opportunity to participate in our high quality programming.
In order to meet the demand of girls who want to participate in Girl Scouting, GSSN is hiring one leader per county for an 8-month program for residents in the Plumas, Humboldt and Mineral County school districts to recruit and lead Girl Scout troops in their area.
About the role:
- Receive a $1,500 stipend (about $25 hour).
- Term: September 2025-May 2026.
- 2-4 hour weekly time commitment.
- Run and recruit for two Girl Scout Troops in your area.
- Badge plans and supplies included for 14 troop meetings.
- Financial aid avalible for girl memberships and uniforms.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
