Outdoors

You’re a force of nature, Girl Scout

And you are ready for more outdoor adventures.

Whether you’re discovering the wildlife in your own backyard, swimming in a lake for the first time at summer camp or being a citizen scientist and observing bees in your neighborhood park, every outdoor adventure grows your “I’ve got this” attitude. And once you unlock that confidence, you’ll aim as high as the stars you see outside your cabin window.

Additional Information

GSSN's outdoor programs allow Girl Scouts to develop a strong sense of self and positive values, build healthy relationships, seek challenges, and have fun while making memories of a lifetime!

Whether you love archery, forest trails, beautiful lakes, or pretty much anything outdoors, our council has you covered.

We are grateful to live in an area with fantastic opportunities for outdoor exploration and we are always adding more ways for Girl Scouts and their families to engage with nature.

Ways to get outdoors

Fly fishing on the river. Playing in the snow. Hiking through the woods and across the desert.

These are just a few of the experiences awaiting Girl Scouts who are ready to explore the great outdoors. Outdoor experiences can be enjoyed year round.
