Pack your bags for our action packed adventure to Oregon! During our
trip we'll be experiencing the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland,
running down sand dunes on the coast, exploring the city of Portland,
hiking to waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge, enjoying lavender
farms, taking in scenic views of Mt. Hood and Smith Rock, learning
about volcanoes in Bend, visiting Crater Lake National Park and
more.
We will be camping and staying at air bnb's along
the way so Girl Scouts can enjoy campfires, camp cooking and nature as
well as some creature comforts and laundry access. All meals are
included and will either be homecooked or dining out experiences at
popular local restaurants throughout Oregon.
Girl Scouts
who register for this program should be prepared to travel in the van,
hike for up to 3 miles, camp for multiple days, and work as part of a
team to complete basic camping tasks and chores.
