3, 2, 1, Blast off! Girl Scouts are launching into space during our
second session of Reno Day Camp. Our "rocket" will be
starting off on a tour of the sun as Girl Scouts learn all about our
favorite life supporting star, we'll also be learning about planets,
moon phases, constellations, and the Earth's orbit. Just for fun we'll
have a day of aliens, myths, and lore, our week will culminate on
summer solstice with a Girl Scout solstice party!
Day camp will
include snacks, field trips to local parks and partner programs, and a
day at the planetarium.
Girl Scouts should come with a sack
lunch, water bottle, change of clothes just in case, and a small day
pack.
*We must have a minimum of 12 participants to run
camp.
