We will meet at the Girl Scout office for this all day program where
we will load into the Girl Scout van and begin our adventure. After
driving to Mono County we will make a few stops at scenic lakes and
aspen groves for Girl Scouts to stretch their legs and take photos of
the fall colors before heading into Lee Vining for lunch. After lunch
we'll check out the visitors center to learn more about the eastern
Sierra. We'll also be heading down to Mono Lake to learn all about
water conservation, what makes Mono Lake so unique, and the special
creatures that live in and around the lake. On the way back to the
Girl Scout office we'll have opportunities to pull over and take more
photos of the landscape, and we'll stop for dinner.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a patch are included.
*A minimum of 9 Girl Scouts must register for this program
by October 4. If minimum registration is not reached the trip will
be cancelled and those who registered will be notified and refunded.
