On this 4 day road trip Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to
learn about Nevada's state fossil at Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park,
discover more about Nevada's mining history at Ward Charcoal Ovens
State Historic Park, search for their own garnet treasures, explore
the night sky after riding the star train in Ely, meet the Nevada
state tree (bristle cone pine) in Great Basin National park, descend
into Lehman Caves, and more!
While on our road trip we will be
camping and enjoying some Girl Scout traditions such as eating walking
tacos and s'mores, and practicing pitching tents and fire
building.
All meals, entry fees for parks and excursions, and
camping gear will be provided. Girl Scouts will earn exclusive
National Parks patches.
