This exhilarating all day rafting trip is for Girl Scouts who have
been rafting before and are ready for the next step in their rafting
adventure! We'll be meeting bright and early at the Girl Scout office
to load into the adventure van and drive down to Auburn to meet our
rafting guides. From there we'll be shuttled to our starting point.
After a wild start we'll stop midway for lunch on the river before
enjoying more of the river. After rafting we'll be grabbing dinner in
Auburn to fuel up before our drive home. For a detailed description of
our run please see below for a message from our guides.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, transportation, patches, a tip for
our guides, and gear are included.
Girl Scouts must be 13
years old for this trip. Girl Scouts should also be strong swimmers.
This is a drop off and pick up event. Girl Scouts will be with GSSN
for the entirety of the trip.
Our specific run is subject to
change based on permitting and river conditions day of, however it
is guaranteed to be an all day excursion on the American River with
class III to IV rapids.

Calling all adventure
seekers! Embark on our thrilling guided whitewater rafting tour on the
Middle Fork American River, promising an unforgettable advanced river
rafting experience through deep California canyons. Prepare for an
exhilarating 17-mile journey through some of the state's best-advanced
whitewater.
The adrenaline-pumping adventure begins immediately
with the rapid "Good Morning," setting the tone for an
electrifying day on the water. Navigate through breathtaking
wilderness, where the river bed showcases stunning white quartz veins
cutting through grey granite and dark limestone. Within the first mile
and a half, brace yourself for the iconic Class IV+ rapid,
"Tunnel Chute," a man-made marvel crafted by gold miners in
1889. Immerse yourself in the whitewater rush, making this advanced
run truly unforgettable.
Midway through the trip, enjoy moments
of relaxation and leisure on picturesque beaches, perfect for
swimming, games, and a gourmet lunch. Explore lush creeks and side
canyons on a side hike if time permits, transforming your surroundings
into a cool, lush Eden. The journey concludes with high-adventure
rapids, featuring steep drops and technical boat maneuvering for an
exciting finish.
