Calling all C/S/A Girl Scouts! Get ready to be Environmental
Detectives at the UC Davis Tahoe Science Center!
Girl Scouts
will earn their Citizen Scientist Badge while participating in a
hands-on activity presented by the team at the UC Davis Tahoe Science
Center. Girl Scouts will investigate human impact on both terrestrial
and aquatic ecosystems while assessing watershed health. They will
play the roles of the concerned public, scientists, and community
leaders and collect and examine data to solve the "Mystery of the
Dying Fish."
**Please note that this will be a
different program from last year, Girl Scouts will be completing
different activities and earning a different badge.
This is a drop off event. Transportation from Reno will be
provided.
Girl Scouts will need a sack lunch and a water bottle.
Snacks will be provided.
