This hands-on training is designed to help adults gain the skills and confidence needed to lead Girl Scouts in outdoor cooking experiences. Participants learn how to safely plan, prepare, and cook meals in an outdoor setting using a variety of methods such as camp stoves, charcoal, and open fires. The training covers essential topics including fire safety, equipment use, menu planning, food handling, and Leave No Trace principles. Through practical activities and teamwork, adults will build the knowledge and enthusiasm needed to create fun, safe, and meaningful outdoor cooking opportunities for girls. Includes an evening meal.
