Join us for an interactive Leave No Trace Workshop designed for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, educators, and anyone passionate about protecting our wild places. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Galena Creek Park, this hands-on experience will teach you how to explore nature while preserving its beauty for generations to come.
In this workshop, you'll learn the core principles of Leave No Trace and how to apply them in real-world situations - from minimizing campsite impact to respecting wildlife. A certified instructor will guide you through practical scenarios and help you build confidence to make responsible decisions outdoors. But this experience goes beyond personal stewardship; you'll also gain tools and strategies to educate others, whether you're leading group hikes, working in outdoor education, or simply sharing your passion with friends and family.
Through interactive sessions, attendees will explore how to enjoy the natural wonders of the Sierra Nevada responsibly through the lens of the Leave No Trace principles. Attendees earn a Leave No Trace certificate.
Training is Outdoors, please dress accordingly. Please bring a sack lunch.
