Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada will be partnering with Chill this
winter!
Our 6 week snow boarding program will be held on
Tuesdays, starting January 6th and ending February 10th. Each session
will be from 4:00pm-9:00pm. Registration for this program
includes all 6 sessions, and it is mandatory that participants
attend each session. This program is geared towards those
with little to no experience, as we will be starting off slow. Sign up
fast as we have a limited number of spots and expect this program to
fill quickly!
What's provided each night:
- Afternoon/ after school meal
- Transportation to and
from Boreal. Pick up/ drop off locations will be at the Reno Livestock
Events center in Reno and the Chevron on Deerfield Dr in
Truckee.
- All gear
- Lift passes
- Lessons with
snowboarding instructors
- Supervision and encouragement from
GSSN staff
- Dinner
Requirements:

Must be between the ages of 11-19 as of the first day of program
- Must have the availability to attend a full program (all 6
days)
- Must be ready and willing to participate in the Chill
program as both an individual and as part of a diverse group

Must be physically and emotionally able to participate in the
program
- Must complete Chill's registration within one week of
registering with GSSN. We will send you a link to complete this upon
registration with GSSN.
- When: Tuesday, Jan 6th, Jan 13th, Jan 20th, Jan 27th, Feb 3rd, Feb 10th | Potential make up days: February 24, March 3
